6/9/24 – Wheels, Wings, & Wishes

On Sunday, June 9th, Pittsburgh Cars ‘N’ Coffee will once again be joining a charity Make-A-Wish car show taking place at the beautiful and freshly-renovated Moon Park. Wheels, Wings, & Wishes is an amazing car show – celebrating their 10th anniversary – which takes over the entirety of Moon Park and all proceeds go to Make-A-Wish to help grant “wishes” for children with critical illnesses. There will be some great food trucks, live music, gift basket raffles, trophies, and fun activities for kids.

Our club has a dedicated area at the show at the Saturn Pavilion. The pavilion seating, food, and refreshments will be reserved for contributing club members but all show vehicles are welcome to park in the field and lot next to the pavilion. There is a recommended donation of $10 per vehicle. Gates open at 7AM for show vehicles and 11 AM for spectators but club members are encouraged to arrive between 9AM and 11AM. The charity rides this year have unfortunately been canceled due to increased insurance costs. Fortunately for those who would like to participate, we will still be staging our vehicles in a special area from 12PM until 1PM to allow Make-A-Wish kids to take pictures and sit inside of the vehicles.
