Club Rules

The following rules are mandatory if you wish to attend our meets and will help you to fit in better with the club. Failure to comply will result in being banned from future events.

– Our normal meets are participation events
Bi-weekly meets are participation-only events. These are not “car shows” in the normal sense with spectator parking. We ask that if you attend, that you are also bringing a sports car or special vehicle to show off. Our club does host and join some other car shows throughout the year that are open to spectators.

– There are no restrictions on vehicle year or manufacturer; but have respect for our meets and take pride in your vehicle
Please bring a clean vehicle to the meets; we ask that you do not arrive covered in dirt, with a work in progress, or a non show-worthy vehicle. If your car doesn’t turn any heads on the road, it likely won’t get much attention at our meets. We are geared towards modern exotic and high performance vehicles but also enjoy seeing other unique vehicles.

– Do not drive aggressively within or exiting the meet
Self explanatory; we want to keep everyone safe and prefer not to upset the police or local businesses and ruin a good thing. This is a friendly, mature group of people and we want to keep it that way. Plus, accelerating hard away from the event is really not impressing anyone.

– Filming or gathering at plaza exits is prohibited
Gathering to watch or film cars exiting the meet is prohibited. This encourages reckless driving and could provoke an accident.

– Do not bring folding chairs
These are a waste of space, dangerous in some areas, and promote anti-social behavior. If you must have a seat for medical or other reasons, please use the ones provided at the coffee shop.

– Park in designated event areas and please respect featured vehicle parking
If there is a featured vehicle of the day, we may politely ask you to park elsewhere. This is just so that we can get the best possible event pictures.

– Do not start a conversation with “How much did you pay for this car?”, “What do you do for a living?”, or “Can I sit in it?”
You can easily Google what a car costs and some people aren’t comfortable letting everyone know what they do. Please attempt to introduce yourself and get to know someone before asking personal questions.

– Be respectful of other vehicles
Do not touch or sit in other vehicles without the owner’s permission.

– Clean up after yourself
Please pick up trash if you see any and politely remind people not to leave anything lying around.

– Absolutely no unapproved solicitation
Do not advertise or promote your business or events – including handing out flyers or business cards – without prior approval.

– No trailers or car-haulers
We do not have space on-site during our event for vehicle trailers. Please make arrangements to trailer somewhere off-site and drive in.

– No drones
Unapproved drone flying is strictly prohibited. We would like to avoid a mistake or technical fault causing a drone to fall on a member or vehicle.
