7/17 PVGP Historics at Pitt Race
Immediately following our regular meet on Saturday, July 17th, at noon we will migrate to Pittsburgh International Race Complex to watch the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix Historic Races. This is a race event meant for the more powerful classic race cars that cannot participate in the PVGP race at Schenley Park the following weekend. I ask that everyone obey all traffic laws and join the group drive at your own risk. For those not familiar with the route to Pitt Race, please bring a GPS with the address ready as it will be very difficult to keep all of the vehicles together on the drive up.
Once we arrive, you will need to stop, register at the gate, and pay the $20/person entry fee. We will all park together as part of the car show by the water tower. There is supposed to be an additional $10 fee to register to park in the car show at the water tower but Pittsburgh Cars ‘N’ Coffee club members who travel up with us will have that fee waived. There will be a car show, many great races, charity rides, go karts, and more. There will be food vendors at the event as well. Check out the links below for more details!
